Our classes are taught in the Sunset District of San Francisco at the corner of 21st Ave and Lawton St, only 3 blocks from the N Judah line. There is also ample street parking for those who drive to our location.
Yes. Our midwifery students need to have a strong prior working knowledge of the physiology of pregnancy, labor and birth. The most common way to attain this knowledge is through a doula or a childbirth educator training.
No, this is a traditional homebirth midwifery training.
No. This program is to be used as an adjunct to the midwifery school that you are attending, although you do not need to be enrolled in a midwifery college or institute at the time you take my class.
This in-depth course will give you a strong foundation of academics and hands-on skills that are necessary for your midwifery studies and practice. **Also Included are some specialized modules for a more personalized and unique training.
No. This program is not an accredited school. To become a licensed Midwife in California, you must attend a school or program that is MEAC accredited. This training provides the opportunity to learn hands-on clinical and didactic skills that are not offered in distance learning midwifery schools. We give you a holistic, traditional homebirth midwifery training which will work as an adjunct to your MEAC accredited midwifery studies to provide you a well rounded education.
Each module individually costs $700. We have a $2500 bundle deal for those who would like to take all four modules, which gives you $300 off the total tuition.
When registering online for individual modules, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit to hold your place in class. The remaining tuition will be due the first day of class. If you choose the four module course bundle or extended mentorship options, full payment will be due immediately upon registration.

Cornerstone classes require a deposit payment for each class registration, which is non refundable. We do, however offer one opportunity to use your deposit for a future class in the event that you miss class due to an emergency or attending a birth.
Yes. This is an integral part of the skills training. It gives you the experience of being in the position of the client, as well as the practitioner. If you have a particular issue regarding opting out of one of the skills practices, I am happy to consult with you regarding your issue and come up with a solution or exception in some cases.
